Back in 1906, Hatenboer-Neptunus started off on a small scale, supplying fresh water to seagoing vessels. Over the years, the enterprise expanded by adding innovative solutions for water storage, treatment, sampling and analyses, consultancy and durable drinking water production.

New activities were developed for water treatment, complementing the water supply services. A production department has been added as well as an in-house R&D team. For that reason another branche was added to the company in order to meet the increase in water related demands and challenges, with a specific focus on water treatment: Hatenboer-Water.
Nowadays, both companies go along to help their valued customers to provide them with safe water. Either the supply it or to produce and store it.
